Concept Articulation
Palatino was created by Hermann Zapf in 1948 and still satisfies in 2018. The timeless, old-style serif typeface was inspired by the Italian Renaissance and cities such as Florence, Rome and Pisa. To incorporate the feeling of Italian cities, the poster is structured like narrow alleys on a hill. The color palette is based on the maritime culture of Italy and the feeling of a bright sunny day at the ocean.
